Retained Services

We offer a comprehensive range of HR services designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses. Our retained package works on a rolling month by month contract, so you’re never tied in. We work as a true business partner and will take the time to really get to know your business and your teams. We really do work alongside you.

Our package includes:

• Dedicated HR Business Partner Advice Line: Access to a dedicated HR business partner for your business via phone/teams. All of our consultants are FCIPD qualified and have operated at HR Director level, so you can be assured you'll be receiving quality advice.
• Monthly HR Partner Meeting: General discussion on your business and any people problems or opportunities on the horizon. We find this helps to nip any potential problems in the bud before they escalate to a time consuming and potentially costly employee relations issue.
• Banked Hours: Agreed number of hours of HR partner time per month/quarter. These can be used for general advice or for specific project work or tasks (eg. Drafting job descriptions, policies, assisting with conflict resolution). Additional hours are charged at discounted rate for retained clients. Hours not used can be carried over to the next month/quarter.
• Mental Health First Aider: Our lead consultant, Sam Bonser, is a trained Mental Health First Aider, able to provide initial support to people experiencing mental health challenges. It's important to note this is NOT therapy or counselling, but a service whereby people are directed to the appropriate mental health support. Sam would act as a MHFAider for you and your employees.

• HR Software: We partner with BreatheHR to provide HR software for your business, enabling you to manage and report on your employee data in a GDPR complaint way. HR4 Business can either manage this for you, essentially becoming your HR department, or can refer you on to Breathe for you to manage the system yourself.

 

 

 

 

• 20% Discount HR Audit: We recommend completing a HR Audit at the start of your partnership with HR4 Business. This is a  thorough health check of your HR documentation and operational activities, including compliance, policies and procedures, and ends with a risk assessment outlining risk and recommendations. A discounted rate is available for retained clients.
• Annual HR Audit Review: If you have chosen to have a HR Audit, this will be reviewed annually as part of your retained package at no extra charge.
• Discounted Rates: Any additional hours or project work required will have a 20% discount off our standard rate.

Prices: Retained packages are based on the number of employees and the expected complexity or HR business partner hours that be utilised. This starts at £250 per month plus VAT, and will be agreed in advance with you.

 

* If you're unsure about what level of service you need, we offer a retained "light" service for £125 + VAT per month. This includes the following services for up to one hour per month:
